Critical dimensions & fits
Pin and thread gauges, micrometers, height gauges and calipers are selected around each feature and tolerance.
Bore checks can use incremental pin gauges, Go/No-Go gauges, Mitutoyo three-point internal micrometers or CMM, according to the project requirements.

Datums & geometric relationships
For hole positions, flatness, parallelism and multi-face relationships, OUJI reviews the drawing datums and repeated setups, then selects suitable height-gauge, surface-plate or CMM verification.

Surface & final condition
Surface roughness, burrs, appearance and dimensions affected by heat treatment or finishing are checked against the agreed final-part requirements. Roughness measurement is used when specified.
What your inspection record contains
Measured values
OUJI records measured values for customer-marked critical dimensions and dimensions with a total tolerance band of 0.02 mm or less (upper limit minus lower limit).
Drawing checks
Wider-tolerance dimensions are also inspected and marked OK or NG on the inspection drawing. NG results include the measured value.
First-article records
Every new-part project has a first-article inspection record. Customer-specific report formats and delivery requirements are agreed before production.
Dimensional reports, CMM and first-article reports, and material certificates can be provided under the agreed project requirements.

Dimensional, CMM & first-article reports
CMM inspection, First Article Inspection, and dimensional reports can be arranged according to drawing requirements, project risk, and the agreed inspection scope. Additional inspection and third-party testing may affect cost and lead time.
OUJI's inspection equipment includes 2 ZEISS CMMs; 4 height gauges from Mahr, Trimos and TESA; Runxing vision measurement; Mitutoyo roughness testing; microscopes and hardness testing.
Material certificates
Material certificates can be provided when requested and confirmed during quotation. Please specify the required material standard, certificate type, batch traceability, and whether material substitution is prohibited.
ISO 286 fits and ISO 2768 general tolerances apply only when the drawing and agreed requirements specify the relevant standard and class; individually specified tolerances take priority.
OUJI is not currently ISO 9001 certified. Projects are managed through drawing review, in-house process planning, production follow-up, inspection coordination, documentation review, and corrective action. Project-specific reports and certificates should be confirmed before production.

Yes. OUJI plans machining and finishing together to meet the specified final dimensions after drawing and process review. Depending on the part, we use masking plugs, CNC machining of selected features after finishing with a planned allowance, or hand-applied masking compound for complex areas. The choice considers appearance, re-clamping accuracy and access for a second cut. Racking contact points and complex cosmetic requirements are confirmed with you before finishing.
No. OUJI retains fixtures engraved with customer identification for repeat orders. We do not charge the fixture fee again when the fixture can be reused. Minor changes do not incur an additional fixture charge if the existing fixture remains usable.
Yes. OUJI can supply finished samples that include your specified machining, surface treatment and other requirements for approval before batch production. You pay a sample fee, which can be credited against the subsequent production order.
Please provide the part number, out-of-tolerance dimensions and inspection records. Our quality team will promptly review the drawing requirements, outgoing inspection records and measurement methods to confirm the issue. If we confirm OUJI is responsible for the manufacturing nonconformance, we will agree with you on free rework or remanufacture, cover necessary associated shipping costs and confirm the resolution timeline. Refunds or compensation follow the agreed order terms. We also investigate why the issue occurred and escaped inspection, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
