Does the drawing require Delrin, or is an acetal copolymer acceptable?
POM is the polymer family. POM-C and POM-H distinguish copolymer and homopolymer, while Delrin identifies branded acetal formulations. Keep a mandatory brand or exact formulation in the purchase specification. OUJI has machined POM; that does not identify the formulation used in every prior job.

Make the drawing ready for review.
Focus on the details that change material purchasing, the machining route and finished-part acceptance.
Small threads and edge breaks
Show thread engagement and the permitted chamfer. Avoid leaving the appearance of a deburred edge to interpretation where it also supports or locates a mating part.
A formulation for sliding contact
For a bearing or guide geometry, name the intended counterface and any wear-modified grade already selected. A general acetal datasheet cannot establish the wear result of a complete assembly.

Can a POM-C quote be treated as a Delrin quote?
Only if the buyer accepts that material choice. Keep homopolymer, copolymer and any mandatory brand distinct in the quotation and material record.
Does the color prove an acetal formulation or compliance status?
No. Use the manufacturer designation and the documentation for the actual stock. Color can be a purchase requirement, but it does not replace product identity.
