Use the sheet for the supplied rod, plate or tube where available. A resin molding value is not automatically a finished CNC-part acceptance value, particularly for reinforced formulations.

Engineering plastic / CNC MATERIALS
Also known as: Polyether ether ketone
Drawing-based PEEK components with the resin grade, reinforcement and material documentation defined before ordering.
CNC milling & turning · Drawing-based orders
Start with the formulation. Reinforcement changes stiffness and machining considerations, while a wear-modified grade addresses a different selection problem. The manufacturer examples below show why higher stiffness should not be rewritten as “better in every property.” OUJI has machined PEEK; the exact brand and filler content need confirmation for a new order.
01 / MATERIAL SPECIFICATION
Match the full designation on your drawing. Frequent machining experience, published project evidence and specifications for review are shown separately.
| Grade / designation | Experience | Include with your drawing | Inquiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unfilled PEEK | Specify for review | Unfilled PEEK: identify the machinable stock grade and any required purity, color or product documentation. | Quote grade ↗ |
| 30% glass-filled PEEK | Specify for review | 30% glass-filled PEEK: state filler content and mark critical dimensions relative to stock orientation. | Quote grade ↗ |
| 30% carbon-filled PEEK | Specify for review | 30% carbon-filled PEEK: specify the exact formulation; conductivity requirements must come from that product’s data. | Quote grade ↗ |
| Bearing-grade PEEK | Specify for review | Bearing-grade PEEK: identify the wear formulation, counterface and lubrication condition for the intended fit. | Quote grade ↗ |
OUJI machining experience: confirmed by the company owner, 10 September 2026. Family-level experience does not establish a specific grade, stock condition or customer end use; see individual row and case evidence.
Listed grades do not imply current inventory. Material condition, stock form and documentation are agreed with the quotation.
02 / MACHINING REQUIREMENTS
Focus on the details that change material purchasing, the machining route and finished-part acceptance.
Use the sheet for the supplied rod, plate or tube where available. A resin molding value is not automatically a finished CNC-part acceptance value, particularly for reinforced formulations.
Identify thin walls, long sections and close bore fits so stock removal and dimensional checks can be reviewed. If conditioning or stress relief is specified, include it in the quoted route.
Heat-deflection temperature is measured at a stated load; a long-term service temperature is a different metric. Specify operating load and exposure when a thermal requirement affects the material choice.
SUPPLIER REFERENCE DATA
Manufacturer technical tables for specific Ensinger stock products. Original US units are retained to avoid hiding a unit conversion.
| Stock product | Tensile modulus | Test condition | Publication basis | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TECAPEEK natural — unfilled PEEK | 650,000 psi (approximately 4.48 GPa) | ASTM D638; 1% secant; 73°F / approximately 23°C | Web table; revision not stated; accessed 10 September 2026 | Ensinger — TECAPEEK natural (opens in a new tab) |
| TECAPEEK GF30 natural — 30% glass-filled PEEK | 1,000,000 psi (approximately 6.89 GPa) | ASTM D638; 1% secant; 73°F / approximately 23°C | Web table; revision not stated; accessed 10 September 2026 | Ensinger — TECAPEEK GF30 natural (opens in a new tab) |
Reference values describe these stock products, not every PEEK formulation or a guaranteed finished-part result. The modulus comparison addresses stiffness; it does not establish wear performance, thermal acceptance or interchangeability.

No. Ensinger cautions that glass reinforcement can affect the mating surface in bearing applications. Review the exact wear formulation and counterface instead of choosing solely by tensile modulus.
No. Request the document for the exact manufacturer grade, color and supplied stock. Compliance for one formulation should not be carried over to another PEEK product.
DRAWING TO QUOTATION
Send the drawing and quantity. We’ll review the material, machining route, finish and inspection requirements together.
Response within 24 hours of receiving complete project details.
Details already in your drawing do not need to be repeated. If a material is undecided, tell us what the part needs to do.
