OUJI’s engineering team defines the operation sequence for every complex part, planning stock, workholding and machining allowances before machining starts.

WHAT THE PROCESS PLAN ADDRESSES

  1. Stock size & workholding

    Engineering considers the stock dimensions and clamping method together, accounting for stress-related distortion and the features that must hold tolerance.

  2. Operation sequence

    The plan sets the order of operations and identifies the specific processes needed to achieve the drawing requirements, including treatment or finishing where required.

  3. Machining allowances

    Material to leave for later operations is planned in advance, balancing the final accuracy requirements with machining efficiency.

OUJI’s internal engineering team approved the B → C to C → B datum-order change, using the customer’s requirements as its control basis. The drawing references ISO 8015 and ISO 1101; the CMM screenshot shows an ASME Y14.5 setting. The displayed values are compared with the programmed limits, without treating the standards or datum orders as interchangeable. This excerpt covers two program results, not a complete CMM certificate or a sampling plan for the 50-part order.

What does OUJI manufacture as a custom precision component?

OUJI manufactures non-standard components from customer drawings, including machined blocks, housings, shafts, sleeves and parts requiring several manufacturing steps. The route combines material review, CNC machining, finishing and agreed inspection. OUJI is based in Dongguan, China and works with overseas engineering and procurement teams.

How does OUJI control a complex part with several manufacturing steps?

OUJI prepares a written process plan for each complex part. Engineering leads the stock-size, workholding, operation-sequence and machining-allowance decisions. Production planning (PMC) supports delivery control, quality supports risk management, and purchasing coordinates suppliers and related departments. OUJI directly operates CNC milling, turning, Swiss-type/micro machining and surface grinding; specialist treatments and finishing are coordinated with partners.

Can you machine tight-tolerance features after heat treatment or finishing?

We review the sequence for the actual part: material condition, geometry, critical fits, datum references and the final inspection method. This can include final grinding or selective machining after a specialist process. Send the drawing with the required final dimensions and surface condition so feasibility can be checked before quotation.

Can you make a prototype and quote later repeat batches?

Yes. Ordinary CNC samples can start at one piece; Swiss-type/micro machining samples start at 100 pieces. Include the sample quantity and expected repeat quantity in your inquiry if known, so both can be reviewed. For each repeat release, confirm the drawing revision and any changes to material, finish, quantity or acceptance requirements. Programming, setups and specialist processing affect the quotation.

What should I send to get a quotation?

Send a 3D model and a dimensioned 2D drawing where available, quantity, material and finish. Identify critical fits, inspection documents and your required date. Details already in the drawing do not need to be repeated. You can start the inquiry without uploading files and send them later by email.

Can one RFQ include different materials and part numbers?

Yes. Include a part list with the drawing revision, quantity, material and finish for each item. OUJI reviews each part’s requirements and the processes needed across the package. Identify priority parts or any separate dispatch requirements.

How are production lead time and inspection documents agreed?

Production lead times run from drawing approval and technical confirmation to dispatch. Transit time is not included. Quantity, material availability, finishing and inspection requirements are confirmed with the quotation. Material certificates, dimensional inspection reports, first article records and other agreed quality documents can be provided when specified during quotation.

What can I verify before you ship my first order?

OUJI provides finished-part photos and shipment photos. Full dimensional inspection reports, special measurements and other required reports must be agreed during quotation. You can review the agreed results and confirm release before shipment.

Can we arrange an NDA before sharing drawings?

Yes. Send your NDA for review before sharing sensitive project files, or ask us for a standard confidentiality agreement.
