    Ordering and inspection FAQ

Quantity, timing and inspection — the details that help you get started.

Can I order just one part?

Yes. CNC milling and turning samples start at 1 part. Swiss-type and micro-machining samples start at 100 parts. The production method and quantity are confirmed after reviewing your requirements.

What do you need to review my project?

Start with the part and quantity you need. Add a 3D model, 2D drawing, material, finish and critical dimensions where available. Files are optional for an initial discussion; manufacturing and firm pricing require the relevant technical details.

How soon can I receive a quote and parts?

Response within 24 hours of receiving complete project details. Simple CNC parts can be ready for dispatch from 3 business days after drawing approval and technical confirmation. The quotation confirms your schedule; finishing, inspection and transit require their own allowance. Swiss-type timing is agreed separately.

    What tolerances can OUJI machine?

OUJI’s typical machining tolerance is ±0.01 mm. Critical dimensions can reach ±0.005 mm after drawing and process review. Material, geometry, workholding, finishing and inspection method affect feasibility. These values are machining capabilities, not automatic tolerances for every feature.

Which processes are in-house, and which use partners?

OUJI directly operates CNC milling, turning, Swiss-type machining and dimensional inspection in Dongguan, China. Sheet metal fabrication, heat treatment and plating are coordinated through vetted partners. The manufacturing route and inspection requirements are agreed for your order.

Can OUJI support repeat orders and multiple drawing numbers?

Yes. OUJI retains drawing-number records and manufacturing assignments for repeat orders. Send the drawing revision, quantity and finish for each part number so changes can be reviewed before production. Multiple drawing numbers can be coordinated within one order.

Is OUJI ISO 9001 certified? What inspection records are available?

OUJI is not currently ISO 9001 certified. In-house inspection includes two ZEISS CMMs. Material certificates, dimensional reports and sampling scope are agreed during quotation. Additional reports are charged for the personnel time needed to record results and prepare documentation; reporting time is confirmed with the quotation.

Can we arrange an NDA before sharing drawings?

Yes. Email your NDA for review or request OUJI’s standard confidentiality agreement before sharing sensitive files. You can start an inquiry without uploading drawings.
