OUJI is a custom-parts manufacturer in Dongguan, China. We break a large drawing package into practical manufacturing routes, so simple parts can move efficiently while complex parts receive closer process control.

03 / FROM OUR MACHINING RECORDS

Multiple faces.
One datum strategy.

For this EN AW-6082 aluminum component, OUJI used a temporary dovetail setup and 3+2 indexed milling to machine related features across several faces.

The setup kept the datum relationship in place between indexed cuts. The temporary clamping feature was removed in a separate milling operation.

This published machining example demonstrates a multi-face setup approach. Its end-use application is not identified. The 0.02 mm value is a drawing requirement; the public case reports production confirmation, without measured inspection values.

A machine build may combine metal mounts, steel shafts, brass bushings and plastic guides. We review the grade, finish and assembly-critical features of each part.

Production lead times run from drawing approval and technical confirmation to dispatch. Transit time is not included. Quantity, material availability, finishing and inspection requirements are confirmed with the quotation. The full package and any staged dispatch are scheduled after reviewing the part list.

Automation machining FAQs.

Can OUJI handle a large drawing package with only a few of each part?

A typical large automation-equipment order described by OUJI involves around 300 drawings and more than 20 materials. About 80% of the drawings specify fewer than 10 pieces each. This describes OUJI’s experience with that large-order profile, rather than a company-wide order statistic. The package can be coordinated through machining, heat treatment, finishing and agreed simple assembly.

How does OUJI organize high-mix, low-volume CNC machining?

OUJI first groups drawings by process, then by material and machining difficulty. Work is matched to suitable equipment, staff or specialist suppliers. Complex multi-process parts receive written routes and production planning and control follow-up. ERP scanning updates progress and helps track outstanding drawing numbers. Additional trial material is allocated for complex parts to reduce scrap-related schedule risk.

What can be included in one automation-parts order?

The agreed package can include CNC machining, sheet metal, wire EDM, heat treatment and surface finishing. OUJI also supports selected basic standard components and simple assembly, including dowel pins and threaded inserts, as well as marking and paint marks. Send the full part list so the scope and any exceptions can be agreed before ordering.

What do you need to quote an automation part?

A 3D model and 2D drawing where available, plus the quantity for each part. Include the material, finish, critical datums, fits and required date. Details already on the drawing do not need to be repeated. You can start an inquiry without uploading files and send them later by email.

What tolerances can you hold on fixtures and mounting parts?

Tolerance feasibility depends on the material, geometry, workholding, finish and inspection method. Mark the assembly-critical dimensions on your drawing for review. The 0.02 mm position requirement shown in the 6082 case applies to that drawing, rather than a general tolerance for all automation parts.

Can parts be labeled and dispatched to match our build schedule?

Yes. OUJI accepts consolidated orders, can adapt the quotation format to your requirements and identifies parts by drawing number or your specified labeling scheme. Complete-package or staged dispatch can be arranged according to the agreed project requirements. Specify the required quality, material and other records at quotation.

What happens when we reorder the same drawing numbers?

OUJI retains drawing-number records and the established manufacturing assignment. Repeat work is routed back to the suitable machining staff or suppliers. Send the current drawing revision and identify changes to the material, finish, quantity or inspection scope before the repeat order is confirmed.

What happens if my parts do not meet the agreed drawing requirements?

Contact your OUJI sales representative with the relevant inspection results or photos of the issue. We will promptly review the problem and, where necessary, confirm it by remeasuring retained samples or inspecting returned parts. If OUJI is confirmed to be responsible for the manufacturing nonconformity, we will work with you to arrange rework or remanufacture at no charge and cover the necessary transport costs.

What can I verify before you ship my first order?

OUJI provides finished-part photos and shipment photos. Full dimensional inspection reports, special measurements and other required reports must be agreed during quotation. You can review the agreed results and confirm release before shipment.

What happens if my PDF drawing and 3D model do not match?

OUJI's technical team reviews the drawing, 3D model and technical requirements during quotation, aiming to meet the original drawing and specified material. If the PDF drawing and 3D model do not match, dimensions conflict, or technical requirements are unclear or difficult to achieve, we put the project on hold. We mark the issue in red on a PDF or screenshot and request your confirmation. The project remains on our daily follow-up list; we do not proceed to the next step until you confirm the resolution.

Is OUJI ISO 9001 certified?

OUJI is not currently ISO 9001 certified. Projects are managed through drawing review, in-house process planning, production follow-up, inspection coordination, documentation review, and corrective action. Project-specific reports and certificates should be confirmed before production.

Can we agree an NDA before sharing drawings?

Yes. Send your NDA for review before sharing sensitive project files, or ask us for a standard confidentiality agreement.
