The component

A small part with several features to control

The part combines an internal thread, straight knurling and stepped outer geometry. The project calls for these features to be produced across a quantity of 200,000 C3604 brass parts.

One machine route

Swiss turn-milling for the complete part

OUJI uses a Swiss-type turn-mill machine to complete the machining for this component on the same equipment. Turning and milling are combined within the part’s machining route.

For a similar production enquiry, the drawing review considers how the features can be grouped in one route, where a separate operation is needed, and how that affects handling and cost.

Precision features, practical production quantities

For similar custom turned parts, we welcome production enquiries from 1,000 pieces. Across our turning services, the target part diameter range is Ø1–100 mm, with the machine and route chosen for the geometry.

If your part has a demanding fit, a thread-depth requirement or an unusual feature, include it in the drawing review. We will assess the machining approach and quote for your actual requirements.

Need samples before a production order? Swiss machining sample enquiries start from 100 pieces under our separate sample-order policy. The 1,000-piece threshold here applies to similar production enquiries.

Questions about this project

What material and quantity does this case cover?

The material is C3604 brass and the project quantity is 200,000 parts. The component has an M5 × 0.8 internal thread, straight knurling and stepped outer geometry.

How were the parts machined and checked?

OUJI used Swiss turn-milling to complete machining on the same machine. Parts were sampled every 30 minutes for key dimensional checks, with thread depth checked using a thread gauge.

Can I request a different inspection plan?

Include the critical features, acceptance criteria and required records in your RFQ. The sampling plan and any additional inspection are agreed for your own part and quantity.

Do I need an order of 200,000 parts?

No. For similar custom turned production parts, OUJI welcomes enquiries from 1,000 pieces. The broader turning range is Ø1–100 mm, with the machine and route selected for the drawing. Swiss machining sample enquiries start from 100 pieces under the separate service-page sample policy.
