04

Do you support surface finishing?

Yes. We support common finishing requirements such as anodizing, plating, passivation, polishing, blasting, black oxide, and other project-specific finishing needs.

Quotation & Ordering Questions

What information do you need for a CNC machining quote?

The most helpful information includes 2D drawings, 3D files, material grade, quantity, surface finish, tolerance requirements, inspection notes, and delivery expectations. STEP, STP, PDF, DXF, DWG, and other common drawing formats can be used for project review.

Can I request a quote if my design is not finalized?

Yes. You can send preliminary drawings or design notes for early review. We can help identify possible manufacturing risks, material concerns, finishing issues, or tolerance points that may need clarification before production.

Do you accept low-volume or small-batch orders?

Yes. OUJI supports prototypes, sample parts, small batches, pilot runs, and low-volume production. For very small quantities or complex scattered parts, quotation depends on material, setup work, machining time, inspection requirements, and finishing needs.

Can you quote parts without a 3D model?

In many cases, yes. A clear 2D drawing may be enough for quotation, especially for simpler parts. However, a 3D model helps reduce misunderstanding and improves review efficiency for complex shapes, curved surfaces, assemblies, and multi-process parts.

How can I make the quotation process faster?

Provide complete drawing files, confirmed material, quantity, surface finish, tolerance notes, and any special requirements at the beginning. If possible, also mention the application, critical dimensions, and expected delivery schedule.

Capabilities & Process Questions

What manufacturing capabilities does OUJI offer?

OUJI supports CNC machining, CNC milling, CNC turning, precision machining, micro machining, 5-axis CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, 3D printing, surface finishing, and related manufacturing support for custom precision parts.

Do you support both CNC milling and CNC turning?

Yes. CNC milling is commonly used for prismatic parts, housings, plates, brackets, and complex milled features. CNC turning is commonly used for shafts, bushings, sleeves, pins, round parts, and components with rotational geometry.

When should I choose 5-axis CNC machining?

5-axis CNC machining is useful for complex geometries, angled features, multi-side machining, curved surfaces, and parts where reducing setups can improve accuracy and efficiency.

Can OUJI support micro machining or small precision parts?

Yes. OUJI can support small precision components and micro-feature parts depending on material, feature size, tolerance, tool access, and inspection requirements. Drawings should be reviewed carefully before production.

Can you manage parts that require multiple processes?

Yes. Some parts require CNC machining plus grinding, EDM, heat treatment, surface finishing, inspection, or assembly support. OUJI can help coordinate multi-process requirements based on the drawing and project needs.

Materials & Surface Finishing Questions

What materials can OUJI machine?

OUJI supports common metals and engineering plastics, including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, brass, copper, POM, PEEK, PTFE, Nylon, PC, ABS, and other materials depending on project requirements.

Can you help me choose the right material?

Yes. Material selection can affect cost, machining difficulty, lead time, surface finish, corrosion resistance, strength, conductivity, weight, and dimensional stability. We can review material suitability based on your drawing and application.

What surface finishes do you support?

Common finishing options include anodizing, hard anodizing, plating, passivation, polishing, bead blasting, brushing, black oxide, zinc plating, nickel plating, and other finishing options depending on material and application.

Does surface finishing affect tolerance?

Yes. Some finishes add coating thickness or change the final surface condition. If dimensions are critical after finishing, this should be clearly marked on the drawing so machining allowance and inspection method can be considered.

Can you support parts that need plating or conductivity?

Yes. For conductive parts, RF components, connectors, copper parts, or shielding-related components, plating requirements should be reviewed together with material, surface condition, masking areas, and final inspection expectations.

Tolerances & Quality Questions

What tolerances can OUJI achieve?

Achievable tolerance depends on material, part geometry, feature size, machining process, surface finish, inspection method, and production quantity. Tight tolerances should be reviewed based on the actual drawing rather than assumed as a general value.

How should I mark critical dimensions?

Critical dimensions should be clearly marked on the 2D drawing, especially dimensions related to assembly, sealing, fitting, movement, conductivity, or functional performance. This helps prioritize process control and inspection.

Can OUJI provide inspection reports?

Yes. Inspection support can be arranged based on project requirements. If you need dimensional reports, material certificates, surface finish checks, or special documentation, please mention this before quotation.

How do you control quality for low-volume custom parts?

Low-volume parts require careful drawing review, process planning, material confirmation, machining control, finishing follow-up, and final inspection. For tolerance-critical parts, inspection requirements should be agreed before production.

Can you help with tight-tolerance or critical parts?

Yes. OUJI can support tolerance-critical components depending on material, geometry, feature size, and inspection requirements. We recommend reviewing the drawing early to identify high-risk areas.

Lead Time & Delivery Questions

How long does CNC machining usually take?

Lead time depends on material availability, part complexity, quantity, machining time, finishing requirements, inspection needs, and current production schedule. Simple prototype parts are usually faster than multi-process or tight-tolerance components.

What factors can increase lead time?

Tight tolerances, difficult materials, complex geometry, small features, special tooling, heat treatment, plating, anodizing, polishing, inspection reports, and repeated drawing changes can all increase lead time.

Can you support urgent projects?

Urgent support may be possible depending on drawing complexity, material availability, process route, quantity, and finishing requirements. Please send the project details and required date as early as possible.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. OUJI can support international delivery for custom precision parts. Shipping method and cost depend on destination, package size, weight, urgency, and customer requirements.

Can you split shipments for urgent parts?

In some cases, yes. If part of the order is finished earlier or urgent samples are needed first, split shipment can be discussed based on project requirements and logistics cost.

Project Communication & Support Questions

Can OUJI help review manufacturability?

Yes. We can review drawing details related to machining feasibility, material choice, tolerance, surface finish, inspection, and production risk. This is especially useful for custom parts, prototypes, and low-volume projects.

Do you work directly with engineers or buyers?

Both. OUJI supports engineers, sourcing teams, purchasing teams, product developers, and project managers who need clear communication for custom precision manufacturing.

Can you sign an NDA?

If your project requires confidentiality, NDA arrangements can be discussed before sharing sensitive drawings, product information, or project details.

Can you support repeat production after prototypes?

Yes. If prototype parts are validated, OUJI can help move the project toward low-volume or repeat production with more stable process control, inspection planning, and finishing support.

What is the best way to contact OUJI?

The best way is to send your drawings and project requirements through the contact page. Include files, material, quantity, finish, tolerance notes, and expected delivery schedule so the review can start efficiently.
